The Bridges That Brought Me to Fort Myers Beach
From Steeler Nation...

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and began my career with Westinghouse Electric/ABB, where I spent 13 years working in the Nuclear and Power Transformer Divisions. My time in the manufacturing industry gave me valuable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of operations, but I was eager to take on new challenges and grow as a leader.
To build on that foundation, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Professional Leadership and Organizational Development through Carlow University’s 12-month accelerated program. Once I earned my degree, I set my sights on the next chapter of my professional journey.
Following 9/11, I launched a consulting business and partnered with industry leaders on innovative technology initiatives. One of my primary clients, Marconi Communications, was developing a best-in-class technology ecosystem in the Homeland Security and Surveillance space. Another major client, Fiserv, was building a data warehousing solution to better serve their financial services customers across North America.
To Silicon Valley...

It was my work as a consultant that led me to Silicon Valley, where I found myself immersed in the fast-paced, high-tech world of software development. My focus was on business intelligence and data analytics. Working with a wide range of Fortune 100 companies, I helped organizations identify their challenges and goals, and guided them toward becoming more productive, efficient, and process-driven.
Those years required many sacrifices, but the rewards were abundant. I was given opportunities I had never dreamed of — traveling the world, building relationships across cultures, and even sharing those experiences with my mom and nephews. Through it all, I came to understand a powerful truth: no matter where we come from or what culture we belong to, we all share the same core values — a safe home, meaningful work, food on the table, and fellowship within our community.
To Fort Myers Beach

With my business partner, better half, and best friend Hugh, I’ve been proud to call Fort Myers Beach home since 2008, where we’ve owned property for more than 15 years.
As Vice President and Co-Owner of K12 Consultants, Inc., I’ve spent over 20 years helping counties across the nation plan and manage large-scale projects requiring strict oversight, accountability, and compliance. Through this work, I’ve learned how to balance complex regulations, financial responsibility, and community priorities—skills that are urgently needed on our own Town Council.
Today, I bring that same energy, leadership, and perspective to Fort Myers Beach. I believe in collaborating with residents, building resilience for the future, and ensuring our island remains a place where families and neighbors can thrive, businesses can prosper, and visitors continue to enjoy all that makes our community so special.
Permit Applications and Problem Solver
After digesting the requirements needed to apply for Owner-Builder Permits, and obtaining my own in two weeks' time, I turned my attention to helping others submit and/or get their permits moving.
CDBG-DR Advisory Committee
Evaluated hundreds of funding applications from Cape Coral, Estero, Lee County, Sanibel, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach.

Self-Appointed Advocate
Navigated complicated federal and state programs (e.g., LeeCares Housing Recovery, Elevate Florida, Unite Florida, SBA, RedCross, United Way) to help our community understand and apply for potential support. I held workshops as well as numerous one-on-one meetings in order to help my community at a time of great stress and despair.
Let's Go FMB Committee Lead
I volunteered for this grass roots organizaiton after attending their first outreach meeting. I developed presentation material, spoke at several town meetings and developed and facilitated a workshop to gather and prioritize c ommunity issues.
